Flamborough Head cliffs


The 'new' lighthouse at Flamborough Head. Built in 1806 and standing 85ft tall at the top of a 170ft cliff.



The old lighthouse (or Chalk Tower) at Flamborough Head. Standing 79ft tall and built in 1674. It is believed the lighthouse beacon was never lit and ws simply a navigation point during daylight hours.

Withernsea beach


Withernsea lighthouse. Built in 1894 and standing 127ft tall in the middle of Withernsea. It was used up until 1976 when it became the museum it is today.


Hornsea Mere. A haven for wildfowl, especially migratory birds.
